Why We Exist As A Church

The purpose of our church can be summed up in three key scriptures:

“Evergreen Ministries is a Word-centered ministry designed to evangelize the lost, equip and empower the people of God, and provide holistic ministry to our community as well as the world."

“While targeting multi-ethnic, multi-cultural groups, we desire to effectively minister to people of diverse social, economic and ethnic backgrounds. We will unite them in Kingdom Love and purpose by preaching and teaching the ‘uncompromised’ Word of God.”

The Great Commission: “Jesus said, ‘Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you...’ ” Matt. 28:19-20

“He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.’ ” Mark 16:15

The Great Commandment: “Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart ... soul ... and mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments.’ ” Matt. 22:37-40
