First Lady Paula Vest-Woodfolk

Paula Vest Woodfolk is the First Lady of Evergreen Ministries in Charlottesville, Virginia and ministers there with her husband Pastor Stanley Woodfolk and their two children, Brittany and Justin. They have been a powerful duo for over 20 years. Pastor Woodfolk is the visionary, and Lady Paula writes it and makes it plain. In her current position as Church Administrator/Director of Ministries, she assists her husband through the training and management of staff and the oversight of ministries. She also supports and encourages the spiritual leaders in fulfilling their roles in accomplishing the church's mission, which is to evangelize the lost, equip and empower the people of God, and provide a holistic ministry to our community as well as the world.

Lady Paula received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Business Administration from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, Virginia.

Lady Paula is very passionate about the body of Christ and knowing what they believe and why. She considers it an honor, privilege, and her reasonable service to offer them hope, help them rightly divide the Word of Truth, and be a catalyst for spiritual transformation in the lives of the people God places in her life.

First Lady Paula's Notes

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Why do we, as Christians, complain about how bad the world or society is? They are doing what they know to do, which is follow their flesh and carnal desires. Proverbs 14:12 tells us that “There is a way that seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death.” Some of them aren’t even trying to do right; they make it a point to do wrong.
God wants us to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways, THEN (and only then) will He hear from heaven, forgive OUR sins, and heal OUR land. But we must remember that it is not about us. It’s about God, and He has order in the way He does things. The first thing He says to do is to humble or submit ourselves to Him recognizing that He is God and there is none above Him. We then must pray constantly seeking God’s guidance through the Holy Spirit that Jesus promised us (John 14:16-17). It is only after we humble ourselves, pray, and seek Him that we can turn from our wicked ways. And it is only with His grace that we can walk in His ways.
God will then “hear” from heaven, or in other words, be “moved” and forgive our sins. God will heal our land through US!!!!! God wants HIS people to possess the land and bring change. We can’t just sit back and allow the devil and his messengers to run rampant through OUR land. Christians must speak up and be the example that the world needs and God expects us to be. WILL YOU BE THE ONE?
